How to Request Bulky and Abandoned Item Collection

The Resource Recovery and Recycling Division provides bulky item collection Monday through Friday.  Bulky items are limited to those large items that do not fit into a refuse container, such as: refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, stoves, furniture, mattresses, and similar items.

No yard waste, construction debris, or hazardous waste will be collected as part of the bulky item collection process.

This service is available to both residential and commercial customers.  Each residential unit is allocated up to three bulky item pick-ups a year at no cost, which include up to five items per pick-up.

We also provide the collection of abandoned items that have been left out on the street or in an alley.

Please allow up to one week for items to be collected.
