How to Purchase a Beach House Pool Pass

Friday - Sunday | 10am - 6pm

• The historic, summertime pool season opens for recreational swim on Memorial Day Weekend, and then daily from mid-June through Labor Day, and weekends through September.

• Pool passes go on sale in-person at the Guest Services window one hour prior to pool opening. Passes are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. All members of your party must be present at the Guest Services window when purchasing pool passes. No advance purchase available.

• Pool admission includes all-day access to the pool deck, heated pool, changing rooms, and lockers. Towels are not provided, please bring your own. Locks for lockers are complementary and available at Guest Services.

• If the pool reaches capacity, a waitlist is started. Guests will be notified via text message once space is available. Once notified via text, there is a 20-minute grace period for the entire party to assemble at Guest Services to purchase pool passes. Guests must be on site to add their party to the waitlist.

• The pool is heated, typically around 82-85 degrees.

Guests must abide by the decision of Beach House staff regarding the interpretation of rules governing the use of the facility. Behavior or activity determined to be unsafe, hazardous, inappropriate or a violation of the rules is prohibited.

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests:

• Youth under age 8 and 4' in height must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times.

• Youth under age 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

• Children requiring diapers must wear a swim diaper in the water.

• Swim suits or equivalent must be worn in the water.

• Swimmers must shower before entering the water.

The following are prohibited:

• Running, rough play, pushing or dunking of others

• Bikes, scooters, skateboards

• Glass containers

• Masks, fins, or snorkels during recreational swim

• Toys in the water, unless distributed by Beach House staff

• Flotation devices (except Coast Guard approved jackets)

Pop-Up Pool Days are days the pool opens during the off-season from October-May, typically when local schools are out and weather is favorable. Pop-Up Pool Days are announced up to three days in advance via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or sign up for email notifications. All passes are sold on a 1st come, 1st served basis on the day of. Regular pool rates and rules apply.

The Beach House pool is one of the remaining elements from the historic Marion Davies Estate built in the late 1920s. It features marble around the deck and beautiful tiles that were restored by hand. The pool and pool deck are complimented by a new Pool House, with changing areas, lockers, and a second floor View Deck that offers spectacular views of Santa Monica Bay.
